Young Goethe Ambassador School Visits

Inviting a Young Goethe Ambassador into your classroom is a simple and engaging way to motivate pupils to learn German and discover the wider world of languages. Young Goethe Ambassadors are language enthusiasts aged 14 to university level who bring an authentic, peer-to-peer perspective into schools. They share their experiences of learning German, travelling to German-speaking countries, and exploring study and internship opportunities abroad, showing pupils where languages can take them.

Young Goethe Ambassador visits are suitable for both primary and secondary schools. Through culture, personal stories and interactive activities, ambassadors introduce younger pupils to German in a fun and accessible way. For older pupils, visits encourage them to continue German at GCSE, National 5, A-level, Higher and beyond, highlighting opportunities for future study, travel and work.

Planning a school visit is easy: simply complete the short registration form, and the Goethe Institut will match your school with an ambassador nearby your school.
