An online event with the ILCS focussing on issues faced by language educators will take place on 21st November 2025, featuring Megan Bowler (Oxford), Emma Cayley (Leeds and UCFL), and Charles Forsdick (Cambridge and BA). The discussion will delve into the recently published Higher Education Policy Institute’s report on the deep challenges faced by language educators. The discussion will also focus on the actions that the subject community as a whole needs to pursue to change the existing situation.
