Activity: ‘Laterne, Laterne’: Open Day at the German Saturday School Leeds

In early November, children walking with lanterns can be spotted in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The German Saturday School Leeds (DSSL) invites families with younger children to find out more about this tradition, make their own lanterns, learn a song and join the DSSL children on a short lantern walk.

This is also an opportunity to explore how the DSSL supports German-speaking children in Leeds and Yorkshire from toddler age to taking their GCSE German examination.

This event is best suited for bi- and multilingual families who speak (some) German at home, but all are welcome!
