In this session Megan Bowler (Oxford), Emma Cayley (Leeds and UCFL), and Charles Forsdick (Cambridge and BA) will discuss the recently published Higher Education Policy Institute’s report on the deep challenges faced by language educators. The discussion will focus on key elements in the report and the implications of the current situation for the future. The discussion will also focus on the actions that the subject community as a whole needs to pursue to change the existing situation.
